The more I see of a pope’s innings the better it seems. That was one of the most balanced bazball era centuries, with controlled aggression, and his use of the sweep was a lesson to India. The run out of Jadeja knocked the stuffing out of India despite the tail chancing their arm. But they are a strong team and will certainly come back.

England won the first test last time in India, they went on to lose the rest by large margins.

Good day for us today. I thought India would be a lot closer to 400, but nobody properly got going other than Jaiswal. Hopefully wrap them up quickly, and put serious pressure on their second innings.

yes, pretty pleased with that o what they are saying is a very good batting pitch.

our attack has a nice balance to it, 2 moving it into the right handers, one tall one less tall and 2 moving it away, one tall finger spin, one short leg spin, plus Jimmy who is able to keep it tight and swing both new and (reverse) old ball.

Our batters need to deliver 1st innings though!

We've only gone and given ourselves a chance here...

Night watchman scores 9 from the final over. Mad stuff, just mad - has nobody read books on how cricket is played?

It looks like nobody has told them that England have never scored more than 240 in the 4th innings of a test in India.

Gill said India were 70:30 to win, history would put it at 90:10 but England are unpredictable. They could 120 all out, win by 5 wickets or the Burnley Lara could hit the winning run with an inside edge off Bumrah!

Simple that’s out school boy error never handle the bowl in these situations without asking fielding side 1st.

Yes, but cricket or any sport really shouldn’t be played like that.
I’d be hugely embarrassed to be in the Zimbabwe team.
