I'm not a fan of the graphics, I guess we're used to the normal graphics that T20 and ODI give us, I also think the "innovations" add nothing to the game.

That said, the two games I have watched these last two evenings have been excellent entertainment and gone down to the wire.

Only my 2nd (very brief) watch last night: I thought Ravi Bopara miked up and giving interview/punditry WHILE ACTUALLY FIELDING IN THE DEEP was reallly cool!
You can't take a match seriously if they do that; but that's the point. This format has to be very different to "serious" cricket to have any point - IMO, anyway.

And the graphics are stupid - all that screen estate lost just to have huge pink (or green) chevrons up the side!

The miked up fielders is one of the innovations that probably isn't too bad to be fair. That's not exclusive to the hundred though, they do that in other T20 cricket.

Didn't realise Ravi Bopara was still playing.Lost touch with him since he left Essex.

As a nominal Worcestershire fan I can't get very interested in the Hundred.

I like to watch a game in which I have a team to support - none of the Hundred franchises floats my boat.

I agree the graphics are poor, not least because they don't present the information in a user friendly format.

T20 is where it's at for me in short form cricket.

Having said that, the attendances for the Hundred games have been quite good, which suggests it has caught on reasonably well.

Telly audiences is probably a different story.

rained off for the day at Scarborough, real shame, I hope it fairs up for the one day matches so they get some decent crowds in.

Yet another draw looks likely sadly hopefully form will not suffer due to the messing about with the championship. Why they think playing the sharp end of the championship in September is a good idea I don't know.
got a rain effected game completed earlier in the week, but a completed washout today vs Lancy.

That probably a loss for Scarborough CC for "hosting" Yorks

I'm from a big cricketing family and am proud to say after starting to play for Kent over 50's when he was 63, then captained the over 60s for a few years my dad is now still playing over 60s on a Tuesday, over 70's on a Thursday and spent February in Australia on tour as part of the England over 70s, getting man of the tournament. The Aussies are coming over here in August and he's in with a shout of being vice captain.

Proud boast over.

Sounds like the team are doing us proud.

Is your dad in the team photo?

I’m not sure Stokes should be allowed back in the one day squad for the World Cup. He’s cherry picking the games he wants to play.
He retired from that format, so it’s a bit poor to suddenly come back now. When perfectly good players like Harry Brook miss out.

I'm sure I read somewhere that he'd been approached and asked to come back and he'd said yes.
