Well done for the CPR, but if this is the same neighbour, it really sounds like it is time that he got his heart problems sorted out! What is causing it to keep stopping?
Hi yes he is the same neighbour as last time, he is on borrowed time he is 84 has three stent's in his heart and one in his groin, I was really surprised that he made it to hospital today, OK if he does make it this time how much longer came the heart take of this.
Well I've done my bit so all we can do is wait to see what the out come will be so fingers crossed.

Very true. My sister finds the same thing at work. She tends to get called (if she's on shift), even though all the other staff are CPR trained, as she's done it successfully before.

I do think that basic first aid, including CPR, should be mandatory in schools.

and which bit of the national curriculum do you suggest gets dropped to accomodate that? Great Idea and i would like to see it too as would the resus council https://www.resus.org.uk/resuscitat...upport-and-automated-external-defibrillation/ Even wifey ( a teacher) thinks its a great idea, however the practice is not going to be as easy as you would like to beleive.

I find that as a responsible parent educating my kids is in the majority , my responsibility. Both have been taught by me( I teach it at Sports Diver and above) . The eldest also got taught at swimming club when she did her RLSS award. The examiner commented on how efficient she was in assesing and starting BLS .
