Teams kits what ever, there just as cheap on some sites as good tops.....in sales n stuff. What ever floats your boat. I've got a MAMIL top was present from wife, so I will wear it, gives me extra speed down hill...

Me, I'm not bothered what I look like, the Lycra holds it all in. Always black shorts though give the bum a nice shape in the dark......

Why do cycling shorts and tights only come in black? (Not including replica team kit).

I'd quite like to have another colour but like Henry Ford, it's any colour so long as it's black :-(

Thanks. Think I will give white a miss. Don't know how it would look on a fat female, but on the men every anatomical detail is on display.

I wouldn't wear team kit. I would look like a plonker. My hubby is horrified enough with the black shorts and a multi coloured cycling top that came from Italy in about 1995 for my then teenage son. (It's as good as new and the boy is now knocking on 30).

White is not a good colour if it rains, becomes very seethrough very quickly!


Stick to black with a bit of colour if you like Although if not going commando and wearing dark undies, a white strip down the length of the short is not good either!

We just went on a 71 mile ride & the guy in all the team sky gear was the one who hit the wall & got cramp then took the shortest route back home leaving his car in another city to collect later. PMSL.

I would never give in, no matter how bad I bonked I'd finish the ride even if it was 7 mph average.
