Don't worry about taking an inch or so off the seatpost. I've had to do it a couple of times - small frame and long seatpost means fouling on the top boss for the bottle mount.

However, I know the correct saddle position can feel like you are perched very high, but you'll quickly get used to sliding off the saddle as you come to a stop. It's better for your riding comfort to have the saddle at the right height.

I bought it on C2W so got it online. Thanks again to all of you for your ideas x

I don't think they have a clue. We have the option to keep it at the end of term and I'll deffo be aiming to do that. So shhhh let's not tell em :smile:
