Sure, why not.Fancy some company? I can't help but notice that the long-range forecast suggests that there'll be a nice tailwind the entire way to Perth...

Well I think I'm going to attempt riding to-from the start as well, probably going to leave Dunfermline 07:30-08:00 so I can get something to eat in Perth before the ride proper - probably take the easiest route up via Kinross-Glenfarg-Bridge of Earn(via the Beinn Inn)-Perth. Hopefully break my ton-duck, anyone is welcome if they want to join me though I'll be taking it easy.
I'm up for joining you Mark
Cool, do you think 2 hours is enough time? i.e. leave Dunfermline at 8am, arrive Perth 10am, eat then meet? It's only 28 miles, but mostly uphill...
I'm trying to remember the date of the first ride when I rode up to Perth from Dunfermline (but it might have been pre my gps). I tend to overplan and typically would have allowed 2 and 1/2 hours but done it in under 2hours The only thing I could find was 3h22mins there and back with a wrong turning in CowdenbeathTo do that kinda mileage in 2 hours we would need to average 14-15mph which is within reason but we are wanting to take it easy
But if we leave at 8 like you say then should be enough time for meeting at 11
@Rasmus and @Edwardoka - are you planning on cycling back after the event?

I think I went up that way and back via Path of Condie; its not online but maybe its in my offline records, I'm pretty sure it was on GPSOk, worst comes to the worst and we take 2 1/2 hours that still leaves 30 minutes to woof down a sandwich or some such - so 8am ok with you? If we follow our usual route then head for Kinross, Milnathort then up to Glenfarg, down to the Beinn Inn then Bridge of Earn (well, that's the route in my head anyway!) then I plan to follow a map. I know there is a more direct route via Path of Condie but I've no intention of taking it!

Me neither - 170k in a day is quite sufficient.I can't speak for @Rasmus but I certainly won't be!
I may be tempted to join the Dunfermline contingent. Will depend on me resolving my problem with my chain falling outwards on the big cog at speed before Sunday. Which given my skills is 50/50
@jazloc speak nicely to @Harry_Palmer79 as the gears at back where the only bit I remember being in good nick of his soon to be scrap bike
