I can't make this now, snapped coil spring in the car and can't get it fixed before Sat. Train is £32.50 which would be a rather expensive day out.

I may be tempted to join the Dunfermline contingent. Will depend on me resolving my problem with my chain falling outwards on the big cog at speed before Sunday. Which given my skills is 50/50

Wow this is going to be epic! I've caught up on the last ten pages and here's what I've learned so far.....

There's a mini bus full of (lovely?) ladies coming from Glasgow way, a couple of bods have pulled out, rule 5(?) has been broken, a broken rear hanger may scupper Jazloc, someone is just going to be lapping the Asda car park, and Pugs don't look like Llamas!

I've ordered some new bibs and some energy gel stuff, hopefully they'll come before Saturday!

Slightly wrong there's a RED (never white!) van coming from Glasgow full of bikes with a driver (ex cyclist, ex bike mechanic) that's going to ride with us plus 2 passengers. The rest of the lovely ladies will have to take the train that wouldn't take the bikes
