@Pat "5mph" I've put an appeal out on FB to see if anyone has a trailer they would be willing to lend me for the day - I have a towbar on my car so if we could get hold of a trailer we fit as many bikes as we can in then I meet you at the start? Dependant on getting a trailer of course! Unless anyone on here has one lurking at the back of their garage....

@Pat "5mph" I have the offer of a trailer that could fit possibly 6 bikes, plus I could get at least 2 in the car (but only 1 passenger!) so if I can negotiate to borrow it for the day and meet you guys in Glasgow somewhere would that solve the problem???

I'm impressed you guys are so keen to come that you might be getting a van to take yous lol
Fear not!
I've found a RED van plus man to take us there and back, he's an ex cyclist and bike mechanic to boot, might even come on the ride.
Only a fiver ahead, will also take 2 passengers.
I'm meeting him on Monday to finalize timings and meeting place.
@Gee_Dee you have a place, probably space for another 2 if needed.
I'm shortly going out for the day, meeting @Mad Doug Biker for lunch, then some of the Belles for rehearsing the weekend bike ride we are doing part of the Merchant City Festival this weekend.
Ciao!

If i manage to make it along i'll be riding there and back. Easiest, flat(est) route from Glasgow is via Linlithgow, SQF, Milnathort then Perth. Going up via Stirling/Dunblane/Auchterader is too lumpy and time consuming.

I'm not 100% sure how my wrist is going to stand up to a 'long' ride at the moment, so I'm still more of a maybe... I should at least have my new bike by then (tonight hopefully!) so if there's still a space in the van for my bike closer to the day that would be great, but I wouldn't want to ask for a space if someone else can use it and is a 'definite' to go.

If anyone is riding the @glasgowjim way and wants/thinks they might need a lift from Liligow or FRB, I could have space for 2-3, depending on whether @Telemark and HJ are coming ...

The lumpyness is what makes it interesting...

I have this route planned.
