Good stuff - we'll see what happens closer to the time. The Braveheart fundraising ride in Kilmarnock is on the same day, and I was thinking about doing that.

My mudguards are SKS raceblade long.

Wild guess at best. You can only really tell once you're within a week. Could be chilly though. Might be a maiden voyage for the winter jersey
