Did you get any feedback on the cause of the recurring punctures/tyre failures?


Could have been my dodgy tube replacement, the wheel was off the true but not by much...there was no sharp edges on the wheel and the rim tape was still in perfect condition

I have something to share, then good and bad news......

I went to Halfords to get my bike fixed :sad:

Good news is they fixed my stiff link :smile:

Bad news means im there next weekend :sad:

I did 24 miles today, not gonna lie, it didn't go too well. My legs + feet were hurting and the climbs felt like they were going on forever. I'm thinking of giving Saturday a miss, don't want to get stranded

I'll still be there, I haven't been able to get a long ride in for nearly 2 weeks though, just commuting. I am compensating by doing the ride home like a time trial :laugh:

It'll be fine...... :whistle:

I'm still up for option 1, if I don't feel up to it on the day ill do the other option, done a nice 25 miles to leven then had a hellish 27 miles back home into a headwind for most of it, it's just the wind that kills my energy really

@Louch are you going to make it along?
