Don't worry about the pace of the ride folks.

Do make sure your bike is in as good condition as possible.
- Check your tyres for defects/cuts/flint fragments and do what's necessary.
- Make sure your tyres are pumped up.
- Check clean your cogs, chain, cranks, make sure your gears are shifting OK, check your brakes.

This is one ride where you can't just phone the missus and have her come pick you up.

No rider will be left behind. Except for those that are

I dont think we have ever done a cc ride that has averaged more than 12-13 tbh

Breakfast of Champions! ^_^

I need to adjust my saddle height too on the Triban 3. I've been getting recurring knee pain after 50 KMs or so (hopefully a little adjustment there will do the trick as I think I'm just not getting my leg straight enough through the pedal stroke...)

Been playing around with saddle height too, I think it's very close, but now I'm getting more trouble with pins and needles in my hands. Maybe I need a shorter stem.... Then again, my left knee was complaining a bit, so maybe it's slightly too high now....

Aaaargh

This all seemed so much simpler when I was 16

(which is quite a while ago now.. bah)

New saddle on its way from wiggle now (starting the inevitable upgrades to the triban3!) Oh and padded cycling shorts too... who ever said cycling saves you money?!

It most certainly does not
