Hi,
Somebody here mentioned to feed senior cats "kitten food" if their losing weight.I can't find who posted it now ,but I just wanted to say thank you for for the tip.
My cat is getting on a bit now and he's slowly been losing weight. He looked musclely at the front but scrawny at the rear much resembling the shape of an hyena!!.
He seems well in him self ,but I was getting a little concerned by his weight loss.
The last couple of weeks I've been feeding him whiskers kitten food (which he seems to love) and his weight has really bulked back on to the point I will have to cut back on it and feed him his regular senior cat food again to control his weight.
All the very best,
Johnny

We welcomed Smudge (F, 16 months) to the family this morning! She was a stray, rehomed via Blue Cross.
A wee cracker and if I'm any judge, full of potential mischief - ! ^_^

This post reminds me of my PT / self defence instructor during basic training. His natural expression had earned him the nickname of 'the smiling assassin' - !

my daughter on graduating from kids to adults hockey earned the moniker "baby faced assassin"
