With more branches & climby things for the puddies - ! :okay:

Absolutely.

We took 8 very large trees away at the start of the year, but I got the guy to leave me one so I'm looking for a stand to set it up for them to climb with a myriad of walkways, solid and rope bridges coming off it leading to hanging baskets hung from the roof, that they can relax in. That's the vision anyway.

Our house is full of various heights & designs of cat trees and scratching posts; certainly saves the furniture - ! :okay:
Most cats like to be high up as they feel safer and also they can sneer down at the lower orders - !

The partner of one of my colleagues did this amazing pastel portrait of Fuzzy who recently ā€œwent around the cornerā€ (in the words of my 10yo).

The Senvelgo experiment on Dumpy has been abandoned due to persistent diarrhoea. It's probably not related - he was hospitalised with what turned out to be a treatable liver/bile duct infection - but the hospital started him on insulin, so that's that. I am no longer going on holiday this year as I have to be here to inject him - my daughter has taken my place.

He came home on SIX medications - insulin, a daily liver supplement (those first two probably for life), two types of eye drop, an antibiotic and another liver treatment. He is back to normal, though.

We've bitten the bullet and got a cat GPS tracker. It means the cat can go out and we can worry (less) about where she is, and hopefully find her if she's out too long or doesn't come back. It has a breakable collar in case she gets caught up. Like with printers, it was fairly cheap to buy (Ā£38 I think) but the subscription is Ā£7/month. She's just getting used to it before we let her out. We agreed with stepson (who owns the cat) that this was the fairest course of action i.e. she is itching to go out and meowing at the door the whole time, plus now it's sunny it is very difficult to keep cool whilst having the doors and windows shut so she won't get out.

are they a special nickable breed? they look like they want to out hunting fieldmice : ^_^

Nah, the boys are frightened of their own shadow but typically, the wee female would love an opportunity to hunt anything that crossed her path.
