It is to do with the fact that Wednesday is sometimes called "Hump Day" (Because once you are past it you are "over the hump" of the working week.)

Friday was always Hump Day for me.

The day you get paid, the day you get L....

There's the story of the young monk at the Trappiste monastery. After each year they are allowed to speak two words. Not wishing to waste his two words, he ponders deeply then speaks "bad food", and returns diligently to his devotions. Another year passes and when called upon to speak he declaims "hard beds". After the third year he is once again ready to speak "I quit!". "Thank goodness for that" replies the Abbot, forgetting his own vow for a moment "You've done nothing but complain since you got here"

Ok, I'll bite - is this a cartoon? Or even a joke/prank? Is there something in the small print that I've failed to spot?
