Hmmm - the start and finish points seem to be the wrong way round, assuming the cartoon shows a row of tills along the base. Perhaps the cartoonist has always been afraid to ask for directions in rarely visited places.

There also appears to be an unnecessary doubling back on both of the aisles visited. In my supermarket visit it would be up the first aisle, round the top and down the second straight to the tills.
