Tesla tried to sell their truck on that basis too. Leaving aside that they have not as far as I know, ever demonstrated this in the real world, no-one cares how fast a truck can accelerate, but truck buyers are concerned with range, paypload, and refuelling time which strangely wasn't mentioned.
There is not one EV owner that I know who does not mention how amazingly quick their car is.
I am a long way from being anti-car but we really ought to be getting away from this high performance nonsense.
