Let's all play nice, lest this quite interesting thread be banished to the Dark Side.

It is. And it's an excellent choice for a city car or run-around.
They are, I was looking at buying one a couple of years ago, the only thing that put me off was the lease on the battery, which I think was £40 per month, which is more than the fuel we normally normally use. But if the ones on Autotrader are owned batteries that's batter, although the price is higher, but with the ridiculous car inflation over the past couple of years it may not be.

That's not an estate car! No way could I get an upright bike in the back or an unfolded wheelchair.
I have to say that I thought the same. The boot gap is not exactly accommodating. And the boot capacity is significantly less than my ID4 (Compact SUV). Not sure *why* they have called it an estate really.

The moment he compared it to a porsche <something>, i knew i wasn't the target audience.

Seemed like a weird colour, and a lot of unnecessary speakers, power and bling... Which is fair enough for a promo I suppose. And for poseurs.

I'd be interested in a version designed as a car first.

490bhp and 0-60mph in 4 seconds.

Yes, just the sort of car that we need more of on our roads.

Tesla tried to sell their truck on that basis too. Leaving aside that they have not as far as I know, ever demonstrated this in the real world, no-one cares how fast a truck can accelerate, but truck buyers are concerned with range, paypload, and refuelling time which strangely wasn't mentioned.
