My car doesn't have one ( too old) but I am told that little arrow next to the fuel pump on the guage tells you which side your filler neck is.

Every car I've owned has had it for at least the last 30 years (which is roughly when I realised what it meant).

The bad news is that they never leave. They get more expensive know way more than you.
It's a surprise to them that you got this far in the game.
Then they just go off into orbit.
Some orbits are long, others can be very short.
They will be amazed how much smarter you are now they are 25 compared to when they were 16.
