Pedant alert, to be honest DD/MMM/YYYY is the most clear. when the DD is 12 or below its not abundantly clear whether you are in UK or silly US format.

Presumably, with a 'MMM' format, you're going to be using JAN, FEB, MAR etc, rather than 001, 002, 003, which would be kind of pointless when used to count to 12, so I'd fail to see any confusion.

01/JAN/2023 and JAN/01/2023 would both be perfectly clear, with NO confusion over whether the '01' is a day or a month.

There is, of course, a standard.

The International ISO standard ISO 8601 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601

YYYY-MM-DD (eg today is 2023-08-14) is the standard notation.

It can be extended to include times eg 2023-08-14T21:03:27

If you use this format in filenames, then they are automatically sorted when you view the list on your computer.

However, the nice thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from. If you don't like this one, I'm sure you'll be able to find a rival...

I believe you have gone astray with your calculation. If you wish to convert 66,472 old pennies into pounds, shillings and pence then the amount would be almost £277 ( close, but not precise ). There were 240 old pennies to the pound sterling.
Perhaps it is £276 19s 4d.
