I'm still thinking about it. As you say it's a lot to spend on a watch that might be not quite right. At least there's a 14 days return policy. I do prefer it to the newer one, mainly due to it not having those Roman numerals and the crown on the dial is more prominent on the 1960 one.

First one is nice and simple plus...

... ime Rolex don't do bezels well. In the pic's it may be that the camera angle is responsible for the bezel looking 'off' or it may simply be a click off being set properly.

However my GMT with the knurled bezel was never right. These have a knurled ring around the perimeter and to my mind either a peak or a trough should line up exactly with the 12'o'clock position. Despite fettling attempts it was never correct. The retailer was puzzled as to why I thought it was a problem.

£400 for a fake. 😲

Remember the good old days when people would come home from a holiday with a £20 fake watch?

Is there any kind of guarantee with the internals of these snide ones, or are you potentially splashing out on something that is a £30 Argos watch?

There must be different levels of fakes/clones. Maybe the £399 ones are the same quality as 400 quid genuine brand watches like Michel Herbelin and the one's below are a bit better than Argos watches. I notice the £399 'Rolex' one has non scratch Sapphire glass while the fake Patek Phillipe linked below hasn't and the Rolex is water resistant to 50 meters while the P/P is just water resistant.

I bought a Rolex Yachtmaster for about £20 from Crete, earley 2000's, an automatic mechanical, its still going and keeping good time, the case became a bit shabby so I put it in a new one.

My neighbour told me today that she's going to buy this for her 'boyfriend'.

I've just had one upset friend/neighbour on the phone. She said the watch arrived today and she's not happy with it. She said it's "not what I expected". Apparently she didn't order the one I linked before, instead she ordered this one. https://www.supertimestore.com/product-page/super-clone-yacht-master-everrose She told me that she's emailed them twice and sent a message to them via 'Ask Us Anything' method on their page. So far they haven't acknowledged her posts, let alone replied! I didn't want to upset her more by suggesting the sellers might be dodgy, instead saying they might have had today off as well as yesterday's bank holiday. Ah well, at least she didn't pay full wack for the watch! She told me she paid £239 as it was on offer due to it being a display model. I'm wondering where she stands now with customer/consumer rights etc? 🤔

I can’t see “I’m not happy with the fake Rolex I bought “ going down well with Citizens Advice or Trading Standards so her only hope is that the vendor helps her out. I doubt they will do that of course.

Hopefully this experience will put her off funding these individuals my buying from them.

Well technically the seller sells them as 'cloned', so she could play naive in her actions. I notice the seller has an actual address, not just an email address. So maybe she could pay them a visit.

Horton House, Rumford St, Liverpool L2 8SZ

Is it a genuine address though? Also if it is, why if they're selling dodgy 'goods' don't trading standards close them down I wonder. 🤔
