A new one on me .

I went out this morning for a spin on the TT bike . Heading towards Teddington lock a bus pulled up at a bus stop . I could hear a car behind me so listened to hear if he was going to over take or let me out . He started to over take so i looked behind to see if the next car was going to let me out . As i looked forward again i could see the passenger in the first car was filming me and the car was not overtaking at all but staying level with me .
I was going with the flow of traffic so panic set in a bit as if he didn't get out of the way i was going to end up hitting the bus .
I don't recall doing anything wrong up to this point and was in a cycle lane marked out on the road so hadn't slowed anyone down .
Anyone else had this ?

It was probably your smooth riding style that confused them,they thought they were filming Wiggo or Cav.

About 2 years ago i was cycling round my local park when someone stepped out of a car and started to film me passing them. I made a joke of it to the cameraman,then a month or so later someone told me i'd been on tv. It was one of those fat people documentaries. They'd shown some fat girls munching burgers and slurping milk shakes, then shown me(I like to think) as how you could be if you took less food in and did a bit of exercise. I was quite chuffed about it!

When i say on my phone i mean i filmed it off the tv on my then 5 year old phone. I don't think it'd work? I'm glad i wore my fluoro orange cycling jacket that day though. It sure does stand out!
In fact one or two people stopped me and asked if it was me that day, as they recognised the jacket more than me.
