My house insurance is changing and needs me to secure my bikes to a ground anchor, I have one and have the instructions from Asgard but I'll fully admit I am not the greatest DIYer.

Has anyone had any experience of fitting one, or is there an alternative I'm not considering? I could mount the anchor internally to the shelves or other fittings which I'd prefer over drilling holes in the bottom of it.

FYI The clause I need to fulfil is: The pedal cycle(s) are secured to an immovable object using a Sold Secure Gold rated lock and the keys removed

EDIT - I could remove the one high value bike from the property insurance as I do have a seperate policy for it with a cycle insurance company.

Thi's probably isn't recognized by insurance companies but I made once and what I had lying around. my shed has a suspended floor. I got a four foot piece of old pallet racking beam and sunk it into a square foot of concrete beneath the shed floorboards with three foot poking up through. drilled a 20mm hole to put a D Lock through it.

Nope, my bikes are just in the Asgard (which is bolted down), two disc locks and a very big Kryptonite chain with mini fahg d lock securing draped around the bikes. Garden is surrounded by a tall fence with bolted tall gate.
I believe that’s fine for my insurer!
