That’s a really beautiful bike. Frau Fritz has asked that I not bring home any more toys without getting rid of something, so any new acquisitions needs to be carefully thought out. Were that bike on the market over here I fear something else would have to go.

Sorry, I'm not up on prices in other markets.
Prices have dropped quite a bit here lately for 2nd hand bikes but classic steel bikes are still bringing solid prices.

Sadly after years of turbo duty that lovely bar tape is badly threadbare now.
With a few small changes including a new rear derailleur, some tuning of the front derailleur and experimenting with riding position and tyre pressure I absolutely love this bike.
A ride I regularly do to the local dam is now easier and with a couple of long group rides coming up I think it will be my first choice.
