No one in my pen again. Are all pens at least visible now? One could at least chat with others that way.

No. They're completely separate.

Signed up to Rouvy today for the 7 day free trial, following a review on GCN. Didn't realise it was a video route similar to Fulgaz. Quite liked it. Had a couple of bots to ride with, which pushed me.
Not motivated to race at the moment, lost the mojo. The uncertainty of how ZRS works, too many Bs in the pens, just not fun at the moment. Hoping a change of 'scene' may kick start me.

It's changed a bit Carl, I'm down on form and at the back third of my category. I think there are plenty of riders still finding their place and will be promoted up or down in a few months. I'm not concerned if I end up in the bottom category, just want a number of riders to have a bit of competition with.

I'm off to study whether it's possible to get a 5 mins lead before the climb in Bologna

My wife uses Rouvy, we have dual account. I should try it, just haven't had the inclination- yet

I used Fulgaz a few years ago and really liked it, but then I decided to just keep Zwift as I started racing more. I loved the real routes and videos as if you're on the road - Rouvy was the same but with bots too to draft on and push me.

I need a bit of a change to see if I can get some sort of mojo back. I tried IndiVelo/TVP, it's similar to Zwift without the volume of riders so maybe in time that might be the next best thing for racing, but for just riding, Rouvy might help me.

My Zwift annual membership is up in Jan, I can't see me extending straight away. Not using it enough and not happy about ZRS and the price hike. Shame, but for me time for a change

My ZRS is taking a kicking everytime I ride now. Trying to do some hillier races and really feeling it. Feel like I'll always be overpowered in flat races and destroyed on a hilly circuit but I guess that's how it would be in real life.

My annual fee is up in January as well. Might dip my toe in some other ones for a bit, at least for a trial, haven't really used anything other than zwift aside from RGT back in the day and sufferfest well before that.

TrainingPeaks Virtual (indieVelo) just announced it's available on crapple TV now, so you can try that too if you want. Free until the end of March 2025.

I've done my last 5 indoor rides on TPV. I like it but can't really explain why. Maybe just because it is something new for me. I do like the data and customisation capability (although I haven't changed anything yet).

Never thought I'd say this but I am debating whether to renew my annual Zwift subscription. It is up on 30th November so I don't have long to make a decision.

YOu can always cancel annual and go monthly for a bit?

I quite like IndieVelo TPv. I don't mind racing the bots. It's more a of a serious racing and training platform than Zwift, but you can't argue the graphics are as good. It doesn't spoil racing, but I think free riding on Zwift is a lot better. (Free riding outside better still - but not in the snow.)

If I want to lower my ZRS I do a rolling route and Z3 round. I let the leaders go then try to find someone to ride with, but mostly I end up on my own. Feels silly I have to do this to stay in a cat and not get accidentally promoted just because the initial seed had me too high but if I didn't I'd be yo-yoing around cats.

I know I've said this a lot, but totally ruined racing for me hence I'm hardly riding and lost the riding mojo. Definitely hoping jumping to a different app I might get some love back for riding again.

That is certainly an advantage of TVP, the bots. Always 'riders' around to push me harder and to chase. I had that on Rouvy too yesterday - the bots kept me pushing harder than I would had I just been on a free ride.

The ATV change to TVP is a big win for me too. I want to just jump on the bike and not have to bugger about with the laptop and cables so I'm glad they've released that generally (although I haven't had a go yet).

It's certainly good to have choice and the market is giving us that. I hope they all survive and that choice continues, because when one app gets a monopoly then that's when the customers suffer.
