Well, that was another weird one from Zwift/ I felt so sorry for Lee. He was pushing hard at 3W/Kg and was just left behind by those of us pushing just 1.7W/kg tryin to allow him to catch up. Then he would catch the blob, be OK for 20-30 seconds, then even though his watts didn't decrease, he was suddenly 25m off the back again.

Bizarre

It was definitely strange, and probably frustrating as hell for Lee. I kept trying to drift back to help Carl pull Lee up, but even when I was soft pedaling it seemed like Lee couldn't latch on to either Carl or myself. His avatar was surging and falling back constantly. While I haven't done a steering race/ride, I wonder if the behavior was similar -- ie, you have to steer around rather than go through them when passing, but yet you can fall back through people IIUC. That's kindof what it looked like was happening to Lee to me.

Change the date on your computer to May 20th or wait till tomorrow to ride the Makuri routes.
