A question from Neo users. Today, there were long sections of paved area and tarmac. When i was on the tarmac, I had a cadence 92-95rpm. Soon as I hit the paved area. i could feel the bumps through the Neo, my cadence dropped to 85rpm and it was quite significant the extra watts I had to produce to stay with my group.

Does or did it tonight feel the same from Neo users who have real settings enabled and did the non Neo users notice any extra effort over the paved sections ?

Andy, my recollection is a little more effort needed in the bumpy bits/cobbles- I used to live it though.

If the non Neo guys are equally affected, then its no big deal and quite clever of Zwifts algorithm to incorporate the wheel drag over various surfaces. ill have to look, Zwiftinsider will have it somewhere

A new bit of kit for my Zwifting ,going to position this to the rear to give me a tail wind:laugh:
