Mine is a tickr. Could easily be the battery. Not sure if I'll ride tomorrow, but may take a walk on the treadmill and see if a new battery helps.
I changed battery 3 times - didn't help.
I see that turning battery upside down (and leaving it in for 3 secs), as JuhaL suggested, resets the Tickr too. Didn't try that.

Re the Tickr mine sometimes goes through a battery in what seems like a matter of days and then connection can be tricky. If so I do the reverse battery trick and all is fine.
I have seen a suggestion that if the contacts remain wet post usage the tickr continues to transmit hence the battery drain.

I killed my Garmin HRM recently. Too much corrosive sweat ... Although the two trips through the washing machine on the strap probably didn't do it all thatuch good either.

I now make sure that I remove the transmitter after each ride and wipe it dry, hopefully this one will last more than 3 years

Signed up for the TT this evening as well. My workout plan wants me to do a VO2 session today, 40 sprints included :surrender:.
I may try to adopt that into the TT race.

My Tickr strap corroded away, so i bought the garmin strap, which works fine. It was more expensive than the HR kit. If I get 2+ years, thst will be fine for me

I have now 3rd or 4th Garmin soft strap. They work fine until the cover of electrodes start to get loose, about after 2 years usage or maybe sooner. Not for sure is it work if i try to glue those covers back again, that would be mistake and try test.

Group workout last night, PM not working at start, swap power and cadence to Neo. 15mins in up the first proper ramp, Neo starts dropping out of erg mode, pack up and go have a shower..

Had accidentally put a lithium cr2032 battery in PM, found some and replaced so it's now sweet, had only changed it last week

Try again tonight

Fitted new 25mm Pro Ones to the wheels. The rims have 20mm internal bead width, which has made the tyres flatten out a tad and measure 27.5mm wide

Sounds like a good few of us will be starting the 18.10 TT which is great. Mass start, so all starting together whatever category we're in - should be"fun"...

I take it there is no draft benefit whilst in the pack with being described iTT?
