I tried/done the SZR 3.2/4 w/kg social ride it was savage managed to do 17.6 miles until i got to the back of pack and boom dropped like a stone, tried to latch back on but I just got no where but pleased with my effort try again next week and try to get a bit further.
236 watts avg ^_^
I went for the D option (2.0-2.5) as I wanted a steady ride. It was mostly steady but built up nicely, stayed in the lead group and ended up averaging 3.0. a nice sprint at the end just for a bit of fun and to raise the HR, went at 700m just to make me work a bit and give me time to get the HR up, worked well and peaked at 191.

I've started to push my self harder now, I'm surprised i got past 8 miles if I'm honest.

Im staying with base training mostly until spring time. The odd race just does enough. I peaked far too early last winter and faded come spring time/summer

Bah. Couldn't get the HR live when I hopped onto zwift today. It claimed to pair, but went immediately to no signal.

KISS EUR, D cat as my first race since the 2nd embolism. Nice turnout and rode with Cs most of the way. One D rider got way up the road and a few others passed on the first innsbruck ring road climb. I didn't really try to chase them down, but kept latching onto C riders that came along and slowly was pulled up to the leading D riders and eventually passed them. Only one seemed to hang on. I put him on the front for most of the last 2 miles. He went a bit early, so I stayed close and only pulled ahead just before the finish. I didn't fully hit the gas at the end -- that was a conscious decision. I peaked around 600W rather than 1200W on the sprint. Of course with no HR, I'm not eligible to win the race. Oh well.

Still good to hit the gas a little. Surgery is still on hold, so I might as well have a bit of fun while I wait...

And, yes, did a proper cool down this time.

Mine has been doing the same thing lately, or just locking on to a single value.
Finally gave up on my Tickr and did a little research. Seems like the Tickr is still best value for money, so ordered it yesterday and got it today. Things are back to normal now.

I had some problems with Garmin's hr monitor sometime a go. I find a way to wake up from internet. I turn battery upside down which reset monitor unit and it start to work again.

Mine is a tickr. Could easily be the battery. Not sure if I'll ride tomorrow, but may take a walk on the treadmill and see if a new battery helps.
