I like the shape. I have a router so I could get a little creative bit like you I’d defo need a template of some sort. I did wonder what it was like actually climbing off and on. Also I guess you don’t have any tennis balls nearer the front so you can go as narrow as the climb allowed.

I hope the neo bike has the natural flex in it so I don’t need one. But looking at video of it, it’s not obvious if it does.
Tommy this is a template of the one I used so I could get both sections from one sheet of 18mm shuttering ply. It’s kind of to scale. :okay:
Based on @CXRAndy model

Anyone racing taking. I'm pretty beat up .... HID not too good and we haven't slept for 2 nights, lots of back breaking lifting her etc. Plus I spent 6 hours in garden clearing etc yesterday. I'm up for a race but don't expect much but willing to give it a pop anyway. I'm tempted by the 16:05 50km Jungle Circuit race. I'll take this more as a long gentle ride rather than balls out race. Anyone else up for this?
Went out in RW this morning and was bloody cold and windy so not for me today

Its official, climbing steep hills makes you stronger and fitter

Ive had 3 attempts at the same mountain climb. First attempt was more of a try out and part of a bigger ride with saddlebag. The second and third are comparable. My second attempt I had a rider to chase/follow for some way and tried to keep a high cadence, I faded a little towards the top of the climb .My HR was quite high, legs ok.

My third and final attempt I decided to go with a lower cadence and probably equivalent in gearing to 34crank/32t cass. I was much more comfortable with HR much lower-legs working harder. There were several periods where i jumped onto the 36t chainring to stretch out and was able to stay with this gearing for some periods- equivalent (compact 34*25t cass)
I reckon with a few more days of climbing I could hold the 36t crank all the way up-1.5mph increase in speed
For reference

Stage 3 isn't on until tomorrow is it? I'll be doing a stage 3 ride tomorrow too :okay:
Hope your wife's situation improves. Can't be easy for either of you.

I've missed the first two stages through illness this week, but did a solo session today which went ok, although I struggled a bit towards the end.

I'm thinking of giving Stage 3 a go tomorrow, either at 9.00 or 18.00 as I'm off to football in the afternoon.

If all goes ok, I'm going to have to try and fit the first 2 stages in on the spare Saturday!

Thanks @Del C - she has advanced MS so her health is very up and down unfortunately. Riding on Zwift is 'me time' :okay:

Not sure what time I'll do stage 3 tomorrow. If I can do 6 o'clock I'll try and join you :hugs:
