Can't wait for you to join us in the Zwift racing Tommy - knowing what you're like in real life I know you'll be giving us all a good run for our money - even top dog Lee

P. S. Just been riding round Watopia @berty bassett and experienced the bumpy effect on the cobbles and wooden bridges - cooool!!

I’m really looking forward to it too mate. Seeing you get your neo I’ve felt it even more sharply. I looked at yours and lee’s stats for last night and I’m hopeful I can get involved with the pair of you. If I’m chasing you all winter I know I’ll hit the roads in spring much fitter for it!

So the sprint to the cafe at the end of the ride is a bad thing?

Only if you lose! :gun:

It’s pretty tough waiting for my turbo to turn up. Seeing you guys racing has got me chomping at the bit! No idea really where I’ll fit in on the pecking order so to speak but it seems there’s a nice spread of people to race with / take the piss out of! I like the look of the race that wasn’t a race last night so to speak. Just because everyone is racing in the same category effectively.

You really keep a diary?
Even with races that are split into categories, many still have mass starts where everyone starts together

I just did a TT on Zwift and looking back on ZP I did a TT on exactly the same course on my Bkool Pro just three weeks ago so for anyone interested it's a good comparison to see what difference the trainer makes

Tonight on the Neo I did the 21km in 31.08 at average watts of 304w.

On the bkool I did the 21km in 30.44 with average watts of 319w.

My HR on the bkool ride was slightly higher so I may have been working a little harder but considering no two efforts are ever going to be identical it's probably a fair comparison on the flat. It's roughly what I expected, and I think most of the difference is in the changes of power - the Neo (no doubt more realistically) drops power more quickly and increases it more slowly (or rather, it takes more effort to increase it significantly)

What resolution do you use for HD quality?
Virb output ... tricky one as it actually doesn't tell you what Bit Rate its using I'd go for Medium for a good compromise ... What I do with my videos, is to output it at Maximum (1080p) from Virb Edit, then import the 60-70GB!!! file into AVIdemux and trim and resize it before outputting at 8Mbs bit rate (1080p) that gives me a much more reasonable file at around 6Gb for a 30-35Km ride

I noticed with Drivo 2 too how fast resistance unit reacts changing gradients. I can feel changes in my legs sooner than numbers are changing on a screen. Probably lag of inertia but that doesn't bother me. When climb start i feel that i need to anticipate climbs more seriously than Bkool Smart Pro 1 trainer.

That is a really strong effort :notworthy:. I would have thought the drop would be more significant to be honest.
You got the numbers I need for next years ToC TT, but I'm not sure I can make that big a leap over the winter.

Have you seen those rocker plates for our trainers? Most are home made at the moment. I’ve seen one for £599. Not sure if they’ll take off. They’d have to be cheaper.

Thanks Lars - that's praise indeed coming from you :notworthy:

I just got an email about the sign up for the Chrono. Did you get it? Or are you already signed up?

They are becoming very popular. Ive made 2 now, a half rocker and now full. Material cost £230, a days labour
