I had a bash at Kleiner Hugel today and Strava told me I set a PR of 1.08. However, when I look at the league table of times it still shows mine as 1.15 even though it still shows the 1.08 time. Weird.

Also, my lap timer was showing around 1.06 so I must also have the start (or end) point wrong.
Yea I'm the same set a pb of 1:09 but still showing as 1:20

I really had a good go at it today hit 7.5 w/kg and had a 1 minute power of 395w 5 watts of my best in the big ring all the way so no fluffing gears.

Norry did you ride up alpe d’huez and Col de Serene? I can’t remember which rides in the area you’d done this summer but it just occurred to me I didn’t see your results on strava.

Also are you still thinking about the tacx bike? If so it looks like dc rainmaker will be putting up a link for a pre order with discount code in the next few days.

Yes I've ridden Alpe D'Huez a few times. I've only descended the Col de Sarenne - but that is fun

I've been checking CD Rainmaker for the last few weeks but will check again this week as deffo thinking of getting the Tacx Bike. Thanks for the heads up.

Rode the ZA TT again today -- mostly because I had a small window to ride and the TT fit nicely.

Same course as last week. Innsbruck ring. Shaved a whopping 7 seconds off my previous time. I'd hazard a guess most if not all came on the second climb where I think I was able to maintain a more consistent work rate. But what was most interesting was my power output was essentially the same avg 239 W, one watt lower on the normalized power. But my avg heart rate was considerably lower (153 today vs 159 last week) with similar differences in my max heart rate (163 vs 168).

Planning to race the KISS Second Base tomorrow. It's C/D only. Anyone else want to join?

There's a handicap race called "The Chop WBR EU (race)" tonight at around 7pm - staggered starts for the different Cats like the GCN race the other night. I'm aiming to do this if anyone else wants to join in? Cat D starts 19.05, Cat C is 19.11, Cat B is 19.13, and Cat A 19.16

I had an issue this morning with my new Kickr'18. I think I've sorted it. I began to get a clunky noise as if the BB was going to fail. after I finished my workout I began tracing the noise. I eliminated the crank by pedalling single footed, to see if it was on either side of BB, noise still present with either foot. I removed bike from Kickr and when turning I could hear a knock from the mechanism. I removed the side cowling to reveal the pulley's. Grabbing the large belt pulley and pulling it followed by an abrupt stop I could make the clunk noise. I traced it the bottom pulley with a Allen bolt holding the pulley in place. It was only finger tight. I removed it to see a little metal powder(it had been moving/rubbing) .The washer on the bolt is/has become cupped due to pressure. it's not a good design and really needs a spring washer under a thicker outer washer to apply pressure to the Woodruff key, which keeps the pulley snug on the shaft. I've applied more thread lock, because there was nt enough in my opinion and tightened up more than finger tight

. Everything is now quiet again

see here new pulley and belt design (ribbed not tooth belt) for silent running. tensioner is almost identical to earlier Kickr design- beefed up design.

Agree, that washer doesn't really look up to the job does it?!
