Regarding drop outs as Bob says it’s powerline for the win! I bought powerline plugs that also omit a WiFi signal too and I never got a drop out in either wireless or wired connection.

#pro tip: Don’t tell teenaged WiFi hoggers you have powerline adapters, let alone the codes!

This is the exact one I bought that still slips. I'b buy from there again if I need to and hope that I can set the realism on the Kickr rather than what I have to do at the moment and keep it so I never go above 8% gradient :banghead:

There’s 3 Zsunr using them so I could ask about fitting if you want.

If you don't mind, that would be great. I'd happily drive to someone who is near enough to have someone help me fit it properly (assuming it is me that's at fault which is a high possibility!). Cheers :okay:

I keep thinking of the kickr/climb, but @Whorty s trouble with the belt puts me off somewhat. That's why I'm leaning towards the neo .... But then no climb ...

I suppose I really ought to look at swift as well

The Kickr is pretty much bomb proof, mine is the original V1, no belt issues. I think Carl's issue was unlucky he got a Kickr which had sat still for a considerable period. And he fubared the refit of the belt.

When I get home Carl I'll pull the covers and do some measurements for you, also photos

Simon Warren reckons it’s as near as dammit in ems of gradient and feel- though he rode it on a vortex

It is very realistic to the real Alpe. I reckon my time difference was down to Zwift ignoring bike and equipment weight. I'll re adjust my total weight to ride it again. I'll reckon it will be spot on for time.
