Good 1 that was lost sight of of the other cyclechaters until brusgard decided to lap me
Couldnt get in to a group so it was me and another guy for most of it worked good together both doing our fair share which made a nice change

Sorry ... we'd mentioned it earlier in the week. Just the 4 of us in the end. Norry, Rob, Brusgard and myself. A ZA organised ride. Really enjoyed it. A nice flat course blast :bicycle:
Yea, yall were on volcano CCW which is one of my favorites. Makes for big groups and fast laps -- hard for anyone to really get away.

Great ride tonight @Norry1 , really enjoyed that. I knew i didn't have much of a sprint left, so thought i could try to soften them up to give you a chance :okay:

Yep enjoyed it too. My power pedals drop out every now and then - and they decided to do it in the race, meaning I lost the group you were in. It was really hard to get back to you but managed it with the help of another guy. Was great when you said you'd take it up at the end, so I sat in until the sprint. Meyer had an aero powerup otherwise I think I'd have beaten him. Good fun anyway.

You was with us at the start but I think you lost the wheel of the group I was in and once you lost that group there was no way back in. Was a group of mostly b's so they were moving fast. I held them for about 17 km but lost the wheel on a hill and couldn't get back on. I tried for about a km but was killing me, with them always 5 mtrs ahead and just out of reach. Martin was only 30 secs behind so I decided to sit up and wait for his little group and work with them. We then had a great last section, a group of 5 testing each other. I knew I'd have no sprint as I'd burnt up a lot trying to get back on the big group, so I attacked a few times over the last 2.5km to try and weaken the group for Martin. Was so good having a team mate to work for - need discourse set up though so can talk properly as swift Msgr is hard when full on !

Yes the whole team thing could add a new dimension. Who is the Discourse expert?

There is a 10 mile TT at 5 that I've signed up for. No drafting so man against the clock!
Started slow (on purpose) rather than the normal 'blast out the blocks'. From the off I was 83 out of 98 on the road. Tried to keep power around 215-225 so not pushing too hard, and not resting. Annoyingly I had about 10 drop outs, where power dropped to zero, and each time speed slipped by about 5 kph. This meant that I lost 2-3 seconds on the competition each time.A good workout though, so all good :okay: Finished 60 on the road, and in ZP ranked as 30.

I tend to tether my 4g mobile connection, it's more reliable than WiFi for racing. Training im not so concerned with WiFi dropouts

Not seen them before so not sure what caused them . Very annoying but I'm hoping it's a one off.

Are you on wifi? Zwift is more susceptibility micro dropouts than bkool. I used to get occasional WiFi drop outs but moved to a powerline connector and no issues since. By and large those that experience dropouts find moving to powerline or Ethernet solves the problem. My companion app in my phone frequently disconnects but that is because if the 2g signal gets used by someone else in the house to watch Netflix or something the phone seems to go looking for the stronger 5g signal and that doesn’t talk well with Zwift for some reason.

Will be doing the 7:50 ZA group ride this morning. Following 3 days of racing my legs need a rest, but as these rides are all unfriendly times for me and I'm up I figured I'd give it a go (you have to do 4 too to complete the academy). Says it will be a 'social' ride of 2-2.5 kg/w for an hour .... be interesting to see if they stick within this range or if I have to 'race' to keep up!
