Sell it quickly Tommy. Forget about it over the summer and look forward to buying a direct drive trainer come autumn.
rumours of all sorts of turbo/rocker plate goodies being revealed soon.

I sold a load of stuff on ebay last week to help pay for the Etap got more or less that I wanted even the bkool classic went for a hefty £28 didn't think I would sell it tbh.
Decided to sell my commuter bike as I have the car all the time so I won't need it now as I can use my summer bikes in err summer.
Feels good to have a sort out
Absolutely, standing out of the saddle and with my hands around the hoods I can use my little finger to change gear awesomeI should have a good clear out too.... I’ve got all sorts of bike stuff alone I don’t need anymore.
How’s the etap treating you Dean? Big goofy smile on your face or what!
I might make one over summer ready for winter.I'm so pleased I built mine. It's a bit of work for just making the turbo slightly rock from side to side. It's not the perfect solution but what is compared to riding outdoors. Its the nearest cost effective sensation to outdoor riding currently.
Had a good run at KISS EUR Tuesday.
~50 racers, so a bit of a small turnout. Tuesday's race had a couple runs up Box Hill. At 9-10 minutes, I figured I ought to be able to hold 285W the first time up and still be able to ride fairly hard through the second lap and second climb. Noticed Andi B (not to be confused with our CXRAndy) in the pens who is a good mark for me.
I was hanging with Andi and a fairly large group as we approached the first climb up Box. I figured those who'd rode off the front earlier in the lap were almost certainly going to DQ. I found it a little hard to hold back on the lower part of the first climb and stick to my power target. Partway up Andi started faltering -- falling a few seconds behind, then surging a bit, then falling further back. Again, I tried hard to stick with my power target, but also stay close enough to others in the group so that I could draft on the flat section at the top and for the downhill. Andi was ~5 seconds back when I hit that flat section and with some drafting I was able to put a few more seconds between Andi and myself by time we got to the bottom.
Second lap was mostly watching the group reform and trying to rest a bit -- by the time we approached Box again Andi was ~20 seconds back. Several riders left me behind, but I was able to put out reasonable watts and stick with one other rider who seemed to be pushing about the same pace. We crested together and rode down together. I his the gas hard on the climb out of the subway, opened a little gap and was able to maintain it through to the finish.
I wasn't aware at the time, but we were fighting for 3rd place. Andi clearly had a bad day and finished ~30 seconds back. I was particularly happy with the climbs up Box. The first I averaged 293W, so a bit over my target. Second time up I dropped to 261W. While the first climb was not a PB, but pair of climbs was.
i would rather go out in the rain!Looks like there's real bad weather on the way for the first Chrono TT event of the year this Tuesday . I may have to prolong my indoor season a bit. Think I'll replace the TT race with a ride up the Alpe du Zwift.

Yeah, I'm a wuss ... I know . But I'm not taking any chances with this coctail of TT bike, rain and freezing 10 m/s windsi would rather go out in the rain!
That's a good time and as I mentioned before, you can expect to raise the avg. speed with as much as 1 kph with a TT suit.Very hot TT last night, pleased with my time compared to my age group. I didn't feel on the ragged edge, need to work on powering along and upping the speed on the long uphill drags.
