Whatever the final result though, an excellent and well organised race series. Good mix of courses and race formats, and competitive and well balanced categories. DIRT Racing series for me are pretty much everything ZRL should be, but isn't

Exactly. It's why, since I discovered DRS in April 2023 I haven't been back to do ZRL.

DRS is great fun. People like team racing without getting the crap kicked out of them and vELO makes that work. DRS does have something for everyone. That mountain stage was brutal.

Yeah it really was - particularly because I was feeling unwell that day too!

Zwiftracing.app confirms I'm a "Jack of all trades, master of none"

Your TT bias means that longer Raw Watts is where you compare best to the population overall.

Pretty much the opposite of me. My peak percentile is in the 30s to 2m W/kg range which puts me in the Puncheur slot for my main bias.

I had assumed those percentiles for phenotype were based on those in your current category rather than the population overall?

No they're based on all riders with data in ZR.app. There are only 7 available time points to play with from the ZP data.
5s, 15s, 30s, 60s, 120s, 300s, 1200s and each has raw Watts and W/kg.

All Rounder: best percentile score isn't >5 points above their average score
Sprinter: best percentile rank is wkg5, wkg15 or wkg30
Puncheur: best percentile rank is wkg60 or wkg120
Pursuiter: best percentile rank is wkg300
Climber: best percentile rank is wkg1200
TT: best percentile rank is w1200

They're only for info though and don't have a direct effect on anything.

Ah OK - thanks!

Actually if I'm being picky, my only gripe with DRS is the amount of time it takes for them to finalise results.

I'm not entirely sure why this is but I know and appreciate it's all done by people in their own time so no complaints to the individuals at all of course - I'm very grateful for them doing what they do. But I still wish whatever caused the delays could be resolved more easily and it didn't take so long!

But you have noticed that the ZP results are there instantly, right?
(That's the part I do - I set up the DRS ZP segments on each of the nine races (18 yesterday) in advance so riders can see their results the moment their race finishes.)

I agree - the system is a bit complicated.
But you know what? ZRL and ECRO are the same. It's really a Zwift infrastructure issue. It's ridiculous that you have to build your own platform to process the results.
