Puzzle game procrastinator!
When I was watching the Mayan San Remo ride on Zwift there were thousands of coloured ribbons floating through the air. Do they have some hidden meaning, or are they just eye candy?

When watching some videos on TPV I noticed wispy streaks in the air. My first thought was that they might be due to programming bugs but then I discovered that they indicate gusts of wind. Clever!

I did a 20 minute outdoor climb today, which gave me a better idea of what I might be capable of. It wasn't on the Cragg Vale climb though. This one (Heptonstall Rd, Lee Wood Rd, Draper Ln... up to Colden) has too many changes of gradient to settle into a steady rhythm. Lots of 10%, a short burst of 15%, a fair amount of 3-5%, some slight downhill, some flat road and a short delay at traffic lights! I averaged 210 W on that today which tempts me to try 225 W on Cragg Vale. The weather forecast is poor for the next couple of days. Maybe I will do a 20 minute FTP test up through Cragg Vale on NYD?

Anyone else racing Alex's races tomorrow, I'm in the morning slot so far solo , I think I might be tempted to join Alex's pen which has 6 riders but it's 2 steps up gulp and try and hang on and not get lapped 😁
Maybe. Last one was a bit boring. But Glasgow is at least a fun course. You can always stay for a few extra sprints.

Would be good to have all pens visible, wink, wink. We could at least have a chat.

In that case I'll definitely sign up :becool:

Not in form to do the FRR after all that time off the bike and illness. I can smash it for a while but not long enough to enjoy an extended race.

EDIT: I can see about 10 signed up in B so not bad. And the category threshold is higher this week making it more likely to find a good battle.
