Oh we might have to try that then. I suspect we will prefer it the normal way round, but it's got to be tried hasn't it?

Was hoping to make the Friday smash but have some sort of calf sprain. It's not too bad but probably need to rest it. Will look forward to the videos!

Given it’s a bank holiday I probably should have signed up for the Smash but I had a really bad night and have only just got out of bed (and still am very tired). Will do some Zwifting later in the day instead.

Friday Smash, mission try and stay in front of Dave. Steady start, then the AB launched just before the climb. Id discussed my tactics with Phil to go a little early and power into the climb and set a strong pace (for me).

I was trying to hold onto the CB over the top but was gapped looking at my distance over Dave. 4secs was my lead over the top, new PB by 6secs.

I joined up with Richard, super lightweight 57kg. He wouldnt assist on the flat sections, but left me for dead on the second ascent. Phil was giving me gap information as I climbed. I held 10 secs over the top , just kept it to roll in for 🥈 (D).

I think that clinches the D Cylopathy March title

Big thumbs up for Phil and Carl in tactical assistance over the last few events.
