I didn't bother uploading this yesterday - but I've done so now if you want to have a look. It covers the Volcano KOM but I stopped it before the end.

I cant believe how little Watts and low HR you had for the pace we were going in the first 10 mins. I was just below red zone the whole way, touching max on my two pulls.

Some great fitness there Martin

Oh dear, I'm so sorry that it scuppered your race, guys. A real shame that Michael had tactically dropped off at the foot of the Volcano.

With a four-point lead over Hexagone, we only had to finish in the top 5 and we'd beat them even if they won the TTT. It soon became clear that, with only four riders, they wouldn't match our time, and I think that might have motivated us to push a bit too hard at the start; we were first at the first timecheck. We 'blobbed up' shortly before the Volcano as a way of staying intact with one another going up, rather than absolutely hammering it. We were about 70s slower than my PB for the Volcano ascent but it meant that we didn't fragment, and I'm sure it benefitted us for the final 16km. ZSUN, who'd started third, caught and passed Hexagone, so we could see that they were recouping their deficit to us, and in the end they were just a bit too strong. F14 Chopgun, who only had five riders, put in a great ride to take the win on the night, putting almost exactly a minute into us (half of which was gained on the Volcano).

Chopgun were all registered overweight, seen as it was the last event they went to correct weight. I know several members are full on A cat capable

They have a full on professional as a mate, I don't think he ever raced, because he was racing/training in the middle east/Spain

Don't watch, I got absolutely smashed by a rider weighing 52kg. I thought she was in the wrong category doing 4Wkg downhill

Great breakaway Alex , super long escape. :okay:

Didn't have the sharpness today, wasn't helped that I didn't warm up properly, whilst mucking around with Sauce. Lost my video too.

Lightweights have to push hard downhill to avoid getting dropped. We have a 56kg rider on our DRS team who has to do it.
Kickr is behaving itself, so hope that lasts :wahhey:

Here's my vid from today. League results for March here

I need to find a weakness in her ability. She easily got back onto to our mini pack on the long drag, held a strong downhill pace and certainly out sprinted me and the other chap in our group

Bear in mind that she benefits massively from the squiffy way that Zwift treats low-powered, lightweight riders - you'd annihilate her outdoors.

She's not all that low powered though, averaging 214W and NP 220W for that 15-minute race.
(Compared to the 223W and 242 NP of the guy I expected would beat me today.)

She attacked at least three times too. Was really fun to race with :okay:

A 20-minute power of 214W would put her around the 40th centile of absolute power for female athletes on ZwiftPower.
Her best 20-minute power on ZwiftPower from the last 90 days is 183W, which is in the bottom quartile of female athletes.
Her highest 20-minute average power ever is 227, which is about 53rd centile - i.e. only just higher than the median.
Although it's mitigated by her light weight to some extent, that's pretty low power, whichever way you slice it.
