Cheers Alex, I was slightly distracted watching where Steve was , whilst you edged me out. Well done 👍

I don't know how I managed to get the green sprint jersey, when others beat me to the sprint. ?

You got 1st FTS on one of the sprints and the jersey doesn't show until after the race. It wasn't the final sprint.

Is Alex saying in his video ,I don't normally do any work 😁, Wasn't a mistake but was 2km earlier than planned was hoping to break and drag a couple of riders with me then hang on , Not much chance I know but better chances than me in a sprint . I think I was unlucky going into the arcade that Steven Bloommart chose to close the gap which dragged Andy with him . Could Alex ,Haynes and me got away ? ,could I have held on ? , And the effort at the end was blunt. Recorded my highest every NP power during that 263w

I was primarily cover S Bloommart's moves. I knew the two new D cats were on paper pretty strong. Had I not needed to keep half an eye on SB, I would have waited and gone for an explosive sprint. The two newcomers were slow to react to surges.

Just being rude to see if anyone was watching

It was very hard for me and Stephen Hynes to get away on a flat course. He's 65kg and I'm 67kg. As he said elsewhere, without the classic B-race fast start we were never going to outrun you guys. And that was fine. I think it makes it more interesting to be able to race WITH but not against other people. I got to go head-to-head with Andy again at the finish - although I had fresher legs than last week, so I got him this time.

I ended up winning the C League and =4th in B with just one result

Interesting to see what will happen next month. Next week Feb race One is 1 lap of City and the Sgurr.

Definitely will be dropped on the climb next month

In hindsight I probably shouldn't have had that one first in Feb, but too late now
Let me know if you have any suggestions for 12-15 minute routes. We've done 8 now so I could rotate through them again, or do some different ones (or a mixture)

If I can repeatedly surge and recover on the less steep bits I might just stay within reach and get back on to the pack on the descent.

suspect though I will be dropped by too much to catch up. We will see

Its great to be able to see all these different data points, it does get a bit of data overload, especially when racing. I don't need that much, I will get the Zenmaster mod to improve the graphical layouts

Zenmaster mod is great. I'm using that one now for the elevation chart with segments. Very helpful on a segment race as there is even a distance to segment start countdown ticker. So if you know you want to start your FTS effort from 200m out at the back of the pack, you can make sure you're off the back at about 500m ready to ramp up.

The other thing is you can have several different user profiles on Sauce. e.g. one layout for TT, one for segment races, one for scratch races etc.

The only mildly irritating thing is everything gets updated so often, so keeping up-to-date is time-consuming.
