A superb showing from the DB team tonight - third overall with the only teams above us being ones who had more riders on the start line. Oh and I might have somehow got 2nd place, only getting pipped for 1st by 0.06 seconds... plus @Johnsop99 was 10th, @Joffey 11th and @Aleman 26th, so some truly great results all round.

Interesting idea that climb portal scaling. Probably Team Zwift way to encourage zwifters to use 100% trainer difficulty perhaps.

I've given up caring what level I'm at or how many drops and XPs I've got. All I really want to be able to do is to archive or throw away some of the crap in my garage, but even that's not terrifically important now that Zwift have nullified the potential for doing in-race bike-swaps.

Quite. Once you reach 42 there are no more meaningful upgrades, just cosmetic ones.
But in reality, even the 'meaningful' ones only make a tiny difference in performance.

Seeing all the "I'm so hard done by" comments in the ZI article is quite a giggle though.
I mean, yeah I take my racing seriously enough to put effort into it etc. but it's still only a video game

They unlock at an earlier level now so I should just be able to buy them as I read it?

It is a very minor thing, but even though it is pretty worthless, I still like to track through the levels. Better to have that capability than not.

Oh maybe you're right, but the levelling up isn't as straightforward as it could be. We'll see Zoon

Agreed. Levels per se are worthless. No longer interested in levelling up after getting the DT Swiss disc and Cadex Tri at 42.
But it IS still nice to see your levels ticking up gradually.
Fire Socks are a minor curiosity yet to come, but I doubt I would use them in a race.
