Got back from USA yesterday evening after a brilliant 2.5 weeks away.
Although my fitness score has dropped down to 20, my weight this morning is (rather unbelievably) 71.5kg, which is lower than when I left. I’ve also spent most of the last 18 days at 1600m+ asl (up to 3000m asl at points), so I’m hoping for some solid altitude training effects to kick in when I drag my jetlagged body back onto Zwift.
I thought some of you guys might appreciate this from the summit of the Togwotee Pass: up to 6% grade for 17 miles!

Just did stage 3 race worlds on the Muckle Yin , 30th on zwift power 2.8wkgs for 41mins , held the front group until the sugr climb found myself alone waited for another rider we rolled together until we got caught by a group of 5 . We all worked together until the end . Went early on the last little kick but not full gas then kicked again as I was caught managed 3rd in our group .
I have missed stage 2 do they do any catch up rides ?
After watching the world's is Montrose St the Clyde kicker ?
Also did Crow Rd on the climb portal yesterday , nasty climb those course were brutal

Think it must be - in fact it felt like i'd raced much of that World's Circuit when I watched it on TV.

I took it to be that except for the fact Montrose turns left at the top and Clyde goes right. Obviously they modelled the idea of Glasgow with some similar looking buildings etc rather than trying to be a copy.
Glasgow crit is one of my favourite courses though.
I'm very highly unlikely to be available for the ZRL this season unless some miracle takes place ... got burgled the weekend (rental place thankfully), everything all a bit up in the air and I'm not sure where I'll be living come September but where ever I'm pretty sure all my stuff will be in storage so I won't have access to the trainer. Sorry chaps.

Ladder race this morning. I had quite a good finish.

We both got dropped after 3 laps then threw powerups at each other for three more laps before he made final push on the drag up to the sprint and took a 6s lead. Little did he know I had a feather and knew exactly how to use it on that finish.
