One of my aims this year has been to get my sprint back and step one was getting my max power over 1,000W.

Here is a summary of yesterday's workout...

I know that pain all too well, Martin. I remember my hunt for the 1200W badge - before I hit that I had at least half a dozen results between 1185 and 1199 - very annoying.

On a different note. I did a FRR series stage yesterday and it involved the Climb Portal. Race comprised of two parts - first was a classic event around France with pens and other usual stuff; in the second riders were asked to do a Climb Portal effort - within a few minutes from part one, and then submit their activity to the organisers. The latter counted towards total race time and KOM points. Was quite fun that.

Tinies this morning, struggled especially first two races with uphill or hilly courses. Race 3 and 4 suited me more with being pretty flat .

I was wearing some Rapha bibs that I don't normally wear. Too small, they were cutting me in half, restricting my breathing and weird behind the knee discomfort -long thigh bibs.

They're off in the bin, shame really, made an error in sizing, Rapha refused to take them back. :cursing:

Hardly worn ,never bought Rapha products since.

Lost my business

Now you've thrown them away you won't be able to use that excuse again.

Thinking about this one. Short and smashy for tomorrow https://www.zwift.com/eu/events/view/3786391

Today I did the Dadurday Chase Race in C. Only 6 of us in C didn't have much chance against a large number of Bs and quite a few As (including Joakim Lisson). But just as we were turning the bend at the end of our first circuit of Queen's Highway, the As showed up (a lap behind us) so I jumped on with them and got 34s on the rest of the Cs in about half a lap, before I fell off.
Managed to hold on for a lap and a half when the Bs went through, which got me from 18s on the other Cs to about 1:20. Then a final go when the As came through again. Much shorter this time. By then I had three laps still to go and I was out of matches. Caught the remaining D on the next lap then managed to find some B stragglers to draft, ending up 34s ahead of the nearest C. The Bs won overall though.

Smart riding, using the faster higher cats packs. :okay:

Did you notice the steering bug?

When you deploy the 'truck draft' power up, the avatar keeps getting kicked out of a pack either to the left or right side. Doesn't happen with other PU

I thought it was just me, seeing your avatar do the same, it's a glitch.

Yes it's a known thing. I made a recording of it yesterday in my warmup...
