Is there a schedule and courses?

You are now in GOLD category Andy. (The categories on ZR.app were rearranged a few days ago.)

To put my category into context, tell me your cat Alex?

I was in the new platinum (1 above you) until yesterday or whatever day I did that A-race hill-climb and got 2nd. That pushed me into the next one up (Amethyst). The lower categories are now mostly about 150 wide. They were all 200 wide before. This was done to even out the numbers of people in races a bit better.

You can see all the people with Cyclechat as their main club here
https://www.zwiftracing.app/clubs/1458

I'm not in that list as I changed primary club to DIRT after ZRL finished (same for Tim with AHDR).
If i were, I'd be just below Fitz Roy in the same group as him

New DIRT racing series starts next week over the next 12 weeks. Points races with an overall leaderboard but individual rather than team. Your best 6 results of the 12 races count (so you don't miss out if you can't make every stage).

Categories are based on the excellent www.zwiftracing.app and that's where you find the racepass and it tells you which pen to sign into depending on your ranking.

I'm going to sign up and give it a go - mostly riding outdoors at the moment like most people I guess but it will be good to do a zwift race once a week still I think.

See you there if anyone else fancies it
Very much recommend the dirt series but timing wise can't see it working for me this time around.

I'm interested to see that they're splitting out all 10 of the new categories in EMEA into separate pens.
If I want to race in Atlantic zone I'll have to be in double category groups. But platinum/amethyst would be like high C/low B (or BON/HAB) so about right for me anyway.

@alex_cycles , with your love of fluo-yellow helmets, I thought you might want to know that I splashed out a whole £25 on a Carnac Croix SL from Planet X (to try and keep them afloat, of course), and first indications are very favourable. Comfy fit for my bonce, nicely styled and a rechargeable integrated rear light!

I've actually got one of those. They're alright. My wife uses it now.

I'm quite smitten with my Lazer Blade MIPS since I had an off last summer and it did its job very well.
I replaced it straight away and then spent a long time painting it how I wanted

Gentle rides this weekend, absolutely shattered:B) This farming malarky is harder work than I expected. I've spent 78 hours in a tractor this week bouncing around over rough ground, preparing the soil for seeding. This doesn't include our best young farmer (Caleb) helping/coordinating. He's probably done 30 hours too.:okay::okay:

Ive learnt so much this week, its been very illuminating, so much to take in its making my brain hurt:wacko:

Easy I know :tongue::stop:

Praying for rain now -never would have thought I'd be saying that 🌧️🌦️🌧️
