I upped my weight by 2kg, but my stats are also showing that my zFTP had dropped to 296W, when it was recently 314W. Not sure on what basis it’s dropped - my 95% 20 min power in the past 60 days is still 305W. My actual sustainable power atm is probably much less because I’m taking things gently while I get over my cold symptoms…
Your zFTP is actually your CP and often bears very little resemblance to your 95%/20min power.
Zwift don't say what data points they use for your zFTP CP curve calculation, but they do show you some key values on your profile.
My current zFTP is 213.
My highest recent 20-minute power is 230 (ZRL hill repeats on the Sgurr)
My highest recent 40-minute power (new record on Tuesday is 218 - DRS 16 laps of Crit City)
Zwift say their aim for zFTP is to work out your sustainable power "for a long time e.g. >40 minutes"
So you can see mine isn't a million miles away from that goal. But "without fatigue"? MY ARSE!
(Maybe that's the 5W difference?
