God, you really can't stop can you .... I get that you think you're an expert on my fitness, but I'm not a B rider. I don't post B numbers. I don't even post top of C numbers. You know nothing about my fitness so button it and mind your own business. It really is that simple fella. You and your little pal start every single spat on here.

But you just can't help yourself because your arrogance thinks you're right. Sorry to disappoint but only you and Lee think this ... no one else thinks I'm sandbaggging. Not anyone else in CC, not any C riders I race against. It's only you 2.

I had nearly 3 weeks off with a chest infection. Did a couple of easy spins, but mostly weights down the gym.

3 races since coming back, legs fresh, and even pushed (just) into B numbers on the Scot crit yesterday. Amazed myself, but a bit of rest when not feeling great really helped

Any more crits and I'll be joining you boys in B for good!

Maybe if I was a bigger person I wouldn’t feel obliged to post this.

Or maybe if Bob hadn’t mentioned it I wouldn’t have even seen it as I’ve not been on this thread lately… That’s right Bob, you can take some of the blame!

But after the amount of insults I took a few days ago, for saying what was blatantly obvious to anyone with a pair of eyes. Something that most of the people here knew anyway but for whatever reason choose not to say anything.

All I can say is, you couldn’t make it up

Carl all I can say is that despite all the names and insults you threw at me. It’s never really been anger from my part. Mostly just pity. I just can’t take this stuff seriously enough to understand your motivation I guess. I won’t forget the insults. But I won’t hold it against you either. I hope you find peace of mind and happiness in the future. That’s all really.

Nothing stays the same fellas!

This isn’t me saying goodbye, I’m still going to ride online so I’m sure we’ll cross paths again. But I am a bit disillusioned with the zwift Cat system. A combination of the fact that the 20 minute power isn’t fit for purpose in setting boundaries. And also the determination some people show in gaming it. I’ve just got to the point where I think ‘life’s too short’. I know these are both well trodden subjects so… yeah I won’t go on again.

@Randyberlin Is selling me the bkool dream. It could suit me very well as Im trying to get focussed on the summer rather than racing at the moment. So I’m not going to look at this thread for a few weeks ant least, and hopefully put all this negative stuff behind me.

But best of luck to everyone here going forward, I’ve had a genuinely brilliant time in the team events and also all the little racing duels I’ve had with some of you. And no doubt we’ll cross paths again at some point in the future 👍

Exactly what I like to do as well when I do indoor rides during a winter, I am training by myself because I like to do what is best for me when I focusing to summer, i am not interested about racing at all, that ruins my motivations to ride when outdoor season start. I can get all out from me that way as well if need to. I like to keep low profile so I can enjoy more outdoor season. That is one reason why I do training session's with Rouvy, other reason is video recorded rides. Everyone have a different reason's to go separate ways.

Bloody Burritos,🤬 did for me in the end for staying in the front pack.

Settled into pack 3 which swallowed up pack 2. At least I could see the course without brown sandwiches floating everywhere 🤣

30th from 200.

Usual video to come 😁

After watching this, I'm really glad I didn't get around to doing it  Everyone's favourite power-up, over and over again

Do they plan the same for the world champs tomorrow? I'm assuming there will be some sort of stream on the Zwift YouTube channel? Or UCI? Or somewhere else?

GCN and streaming it on their you tube channel . Everyone will get the same power up but don't know if it's a burrito. Also all bikes are neutralised so sponsored athletes can ride there sponsored bike without a disadvantage
So someone could rock a MTB just for fun

Nice! That limits my time slot selection for FRR. Unless I watch a race while in a race. Certainly been done before ;)

Ah, lovely! I don't have anything against power-ups, except their randomness. Everyone getting the same sounds like a good idea - leaves it to rider strategy.

I’ve found a nice balance this year - 1 race a week in ZRL and 4 workout sessions + 1 outdoor ride. As the weather improves and more light in the evenings I’ll migrate to more outdoor and commutes. Zwift subscription renews for me on the 3rd of each month so I’ll keep it until 3rd April then go into zwift hibernation. 💤

Shame you're not going to join the CC races, but I can understand why you wouldn't want to get beaten by us lesser mortals ... enjoy bkool. We'll miss your input.

It was ok, same for everyone, so just something to deal with. I actually quite enjoyed it as had to concentrate the whole ride. Bloody hard though for sure.

Exactly mate .... you concentrate on you, focus on YOUR training and ultimately what keeps you motivated. That's what I do too - focus on my riding and my own enjoyment and have fun. It's the best way to be :okay:

Six rides a week. Wow. I found going from 4 to 5 a bit challenging, but the gains have been definitely worth it. Weekends are generally OK, it's making the time Monday-Friday that's a bit tricky, for obvious reasons. Still a few years before retirement and then plenty of time to burn ;)
