She did it twice this week as well. First one must have been a recon race at ONLY 4.2 W/kg for 15 minutes

It's not a bad course. I did a 10k warmup as usual, but somehow the legs weren't on fire today. Was a bit cold in the garage. 5.8°C when I started but went up a degree while I was in there.

I've got an electric rad in The Zwifting Suite, but it's never been on and I don't think the temperature was much different from the outside world (-5 degrees) when I did a short workout this morning. Was wearing T-shirt, beanie and thick gloves. Didn't have the fan on or the door open, because it wasn't a hard workout (Leg Openers, prep for tonight's smashfest).

I confirm from my latest Torvill and Dean impression on the ice rink this morning it does differ slightly from the outside world at present 😄

I’ve not paid attention to the “pro” series that’s been mentioned here but now I find myself entered for a race in it tonight. Is there a league table?

then select "All" and "Cyclechat" gets you...

@Norry1 - I used to have a BMCR race licence but don't currently. A few of the Derby track riders are pushing me to join their BMCR racing league at Derby velodrome on Monday's next year but I can't as I'm teaching Monday evenings plus with racing at Derby on Tuesday and Manchester on Friday that's enough for me.

Yes I hear the BMCR Track Events are pretty good.

You should have a bash at the road or crit races too.

Fast start which I always find it a shock. Went all in on the first climb, held the first group. 2nd climb came too quick for me to compose myself, semi blew up. Hung onto second chasing pack. Told myself just hang on for the last climb in this group and I have a good chance for the sprint. Cruised around, went early came from 35th to finish 13 th on Zwift, 11th ZP

Oh that's a different one. Enjoy it anyway

Enjoy hmmm. I had the perfect build up to be fair. Complete luck. But it turns out a 15 min Power Nap, followed by 2 pancakes with some honey comb ice cream dollop on top is an excellent pre race routine! Who’d of thought it!

I got dumped on the first climb of the Kom from the front group, but generally I felt good throughout the race.
