Flamme Rouge. Unless you mean you want to be the lanterne rouge

There's no frame choice in any of the races. For TTs riders get the standard Zwift TT, and for other stages everyone gets the standard Zwift road. It happens automatically. Yes, you do get to choose the wheels :okay:

[EDIT]: There's also no power ups.

I'll probably do this stage as well. Anyone know what the fastest wheels are for the TT bike? I have 14 million drops and level 52 so I assume I can access everything.

It's a bit hilly so not as straightforward. DT discs are the fastest on flats and not too heavy so always a good bet. I recon the ZIPP 858 non-disc might not be a bad idea either (probably quicker up the hill but slower on the flat).

Do note that it's called a TT but it's a normal (non-conveyor) mass start. Draft is disabled though.

Had a great event Makuri stage 4

Its not the ideal course for me with a 1m40 climb 4 times, twice per lap. My aim was to stay with the leaders for the race and get a top 20 place. I achieved consistent times up the Mech isle climb with only a 2s variance. I nearly got dropped on the third ascent but fought hard on the descent to latch back on. I became separated on the final climb, but there was a bunch just behind the lead pack which allowed me to go for a mild sprint and claw 16th from over 100 starters.

Looks like you beat my time by 14 seconds :okay: I was on my @rse by the end ... struggling on 34 minute races at the moment :surrender:

Thanks to @CXRAndy recon. I just had probably my best zwift race stage 4 race Makuri 35.38 26th place on zwiftpower (30 on the road) . Managed to hang on too the lead pack until we crested the 3rd climb the longest I've been at the front . Then found myself in a group of 3 as the lead pack rode away on the descent . By the bottom we were a group of 9 and we all worked and we pulled back a 9 second gap to the front to be back together before the last climb .But that effort killed my legs and I exploded going up the last climb managed to grovel over the top and roll through the finish

You look at the climb, it seems quite tame, but the pace needed to hang on near the front, grinds you down. Then comes the cracks :heat:

You're getting closer and closer to holding on for the whole race though. And that's great to see :okay:
Cheers ,Finished 38 sec behind the winner by far the nearest I got to a winner in Cat C. I enjoy these races because there no sprints or Koms to split the group and I seem more suited for a prolonged hard effort (dare I say TT effort )than surge and recover racing of Wtrl

Maybe that's your thing? Or maybe that's how you've always ridden so your body is used to it?
Looking at ZP stats you do have some sprint there but being light that will work in your favour on short hills
(did someone say Titan's Grove?). Tiny races are great for developing that and seem to help the longer endurance too.

My sprint lasted about 3 secs, before to had to sit down again. I think most of riders around me were feeling the same. Only one rider made a half decent attempt in my pack. The lead group was nearly caught, so I think most of them were feeling it too
