Gym for me today .... keep this old body nice and buff for the young lass. Then probably a race of sorts tomorrow. Rest the legs Monday ready for being as fresh as possible Tuesday :becool:

Gym work will have to wait till December, Shed is clad up, except frontage, where it needs a new roller door and access door. Its so dark in there now, I'll need high bay lights and electrics, internet setting up before moving back in with gym/turbo equipment.

I felt really unwell, for start of race 3, but thankfully it went away. It is amazing how you can go really deep, thinking that's it' I'm done, then do it again a few minutes later.

Did enjoy them once I recovered. :okay:

Will do more:hyper:

Last time I did them, after race 3 I got off the bike and the legs collapsed underneath me. Couldn't even stand. I had 4 minutes to shake the acid from the muscles, get back on the bike and off again (race 4 was 1 lap of what we are doing Tuesday, so I had that little section of the KoM to get over). But like you say, even when your body is saying no, it's amazing how the mind can convince it that it's only a few more minutes so dig in :okay:

I love the Tiny series. Right up my style of racing. Short and explosive.

Ah no, I'm going to end up doing these at some point aren't I. Does sound like it's just on the right side of fun/total pain

They're just short enough that you finish one, think "I'm totally forked", but after 3 or 4 minutes' break before the next one starts you can just about do it. At least the starts aren't too crazy for races 3 and 4

Was planning an outdoor ride today, but after ZRL Tuesday night, Ventoux Wednesday morning and 3 laps of Harrogate yesterday morning I'm finding I can't be arsed. Is that "listening to your body" or being a lazy bstrd?

I have climbed to 14th in the C+ cat for World Indoor Cycling Wrankings though. Frustrating as I got 7th yesterday morning with a time that would have won the midnight race. Luck of the draw, I guess. You won't get me riding at midnight for points  One of the reasons I like this series is that there is a morning race.

Currently above Hivey, but that won't last once he does a "gold" race.

Yesterday I ride Makuri 40 route which was Tour of Makuri Stage 5. For me that was VO2 workout. Connect Garmin gives 4,8 aerobic points and 2,9 anaerobic points. Quite effective training session.

I had a bit of a mare on mine. HRM dropped out just before start. By the time i got back in they were already off. i had to give chase and zwift race sprint to catch them up the climb and my Z2 ride went out the window. I also forgot to change from the tt bike to the Tron :rolleyes:1h 4.47 at NP of 209 so just shy of 3w/k. I really like the course. Great visuals and a great circuit with 300m of climbing for a long race.
