Its open slatted side and exposed ridge. So rain came in from all direction. Next week it will have extra purlins for mounting solar brackets and lovely insulated panels.

Good, I’m glad you’re putting on extra purlins if you’ve got solar cells. Even in 15’ bays, timber purlins are always shite. Insulated panels are a fair bit more tolerant to deflection than fibre-cement sheets. 👍

Watched the video, really strikes a parallel regarding efforts and recovery. Excellent subject and the rider was spot on

Happiness related to performance or lack of performance is where I'm at. I enjoy racing, but realise winning especially in the likes of ZRL isn't going to happen and top 50% is really good-for me.

Still give a bloody nose to some younger riders

All the signs that I can keep up my performance is motivating and all the signs that I'm improving my performance is enormously satisfying for me these days. I can imagine that satisfying goes to different level when you racing with younger riders and you kick their butt or how was that saying....wear the trousers or something like that.

As long as the trousers have lycra and enhance your aerodynamic performance

I belatedly dipped my toe into Tiny Racing last night. My goodness, what a painful experience! Mech Isle Loop, which is a course that would probably suit me in multi-lap B races, was absolutely brutal up the climb, and I came 43rd/45 in that one, but for the first, third and last stage I placed in the twenties which is okay. My 219 points in the last event is the best race ranking I’ve ever scored in Zwift, which shows the effect of ‘racing up’, and I got a darned good workout, too!

I've always liked shorter sprinty races. The Tiny races are great. Carl and myself have been enjoying them, Bob's done a few as well. Actually I'm pretty sure I saw Steen there last week as well. Great VO2 workout, but also great for ZP ranking because they are well populated by highly-ranked riders. I've only done them all twice though. Four is a bit much, but doable.
