Unfortunately I'm busy on Tuesday evenings, Andy - it's the night my eldest goes to Cubs...

Would they not let you set up a turbo in the corner?

Haha, Cubs is 18:30 to 20:00, so it's more that ZRL clashes with driving him home from Cubs!
Going to check out a few of the Baby On Board workouts as an enforced gentle reintroduction to Zwifting after a week-long lurgy. ^_^
BTW I really enjoyed my pregnancy workout last night. Then rode roughshod over all the benefits of doing an easy ride by doing a lap of Mech Isle Loop at 350W, trying to get the KOM! Fortunately my lungs are still internal.

Channeling the inner child - very appropriate after a pregnancy workout.

Hmm. I just went to Enter Stage 2 of Race Makuri again and it seems I am not allowed to enter in D even though I am still D in ZP. Not sure I am mentally prepared to go race in C yet. Oh well

This is strange. Just looked at the 12 noon Race Makuri Stage 2 tomorrow and it allows me to enter as D?

There are some odd things around CP I've seen mentioned in the Zwift forums.
Some people have said that doing a hard 2-minute effort can somehow skew the figures and bring your overall CP down.
But who the hell really knows how it works until they start publishing the user data, or at least allowing individual users to see their own?

I know that my 5 minute effort last Saturday in Tiny Race 2 pushed me into VO2max >55 which is one of the triggers for B on CE.
(according to the way intervals.icu calculates it, which Zwift have been pushing people towards using).

[VO2max = 16.6 + (8.87 × 5-min W/kg)] But that's only one half of the story. CP is the other.

It's using your last 60 days and I assume you currently don't have many rides over that period, so it's possible that if you're right on the border for Cat C and D and your last ride added to the available data and dropped you just back in to being allowed in D Cat again

The other thing not everyone may have realised is that CE uses ALL your zwift data excluding workouts (not sure about meetups or club rides). Not just races and group rides that would appear on ZP.

It definitely includes meetups and club rides too. They said it would also include workouts but didn’t say when, but chances are this may have already happened as this is going back a few months now.

The calculations only happen once a day so sometimes you find yourself locked out of a category, then 24 hours later you’re back in, usually because your weight has been updated.

Sunday's World Indoor Cycling Rankings race is the first two hills of Surrey Hills.
Fox and then summit finish on Leith. FTS on Fox.
Climbing bike and wheels? It'd be a nice opportunity to try out the new Alpinists ^_^

Mrs Legs rode Zwift for the first time this morning! I’d dropped the seat post all the way down but the reach was still much too big for her 😄. I went out at 5:50 to find her partway through Ramp Test Lite, which, to my mind, is a quick and easy way to start hating cycling!

FTP 127W / 2.15 W/kg 👍
